Emma Sargsyan is the host of INSIGHT - a long-form power and culture podcast featuring extraordinary guests at the intersection of business, identity, leadership and culture. She is the founder and CEO of Saege PR, with offices in Los Angeles and Yerevan and the Founder/CEO of Sargsyan Group Inc.
Over 20 years she has advised governments, executives and public figures across the United States, Armenia and the post-Soviet world on communications strategy, personal branding and influence.
She is based in Los Angeles.
I moved to Los Angeles from Armenia with a vision and not much else.
I did not have the connections. I did not have the rolodex. I did not have the cultural fluency that people who grew up here take completely for granted.
What I had was 20 years of watching how power actually works - not in boardrooms but in the rooms before the boardrooms. The conversations that happen before the decisions are made. The relationships that determine whose call gets returned.
I built INSIGHT because the most extraordinary people I kept meeting had stories that deserved a bigger stage - and no platform that understood both their world and the audience that needed to hear from them.
Every guest who has sat across from me - the neurosurgeons, the Hollywood actors, the former Twitter CTOs, the matchmakers, the martial arts legends, the politicians — they all share one thing. They built something significant in a world that was not designed for them.
That is the story INSIGHT tells. And it is my story too.
